In 1956, the Monte family expanded to manage Gurney's Inn in Montauk, bringing their famous recipes with them. Today, Monte's Local Kitchen & Tap Room in Amenia, NY continues the family tradition and offers the famous tomato sauce in a bottle. The recipe remains simple and perfect, with locally grown and sustainable ingredients being the only changes made over the years.
