Relatively new to the world of conservas, we think this fish is gonna stick. Horse mackerel have a lower caloric content than sardines, and more meat to boast. The flavor is stronger, but is well tamed by a bright and briney sauce. Tomato, vinegar, onion, bell pepper, white pepper, and laurel combine their forces for flavor bliss.
