Stuffed Shells - Roasted Butternut Squash - 11.24.26

Our Zelli stuffed shells are made in-house, generously filled with butternut squash, warming fall spices, and Gruyère. The shells are nestled in a vibrant tomato sauce crafted with DOP San Marzano tomatoes.

For a truly irresistible pairing, our friend Master Sommelier Laura Williamson says to reach for Királyudvar Dry Furmint from Hungary’s historically renowned Tokaj region, with its name translating to “King’s Court,” dating to the Habsburg Dynasty in the 1600s. Its generous texture and layered character beautifully complement the richness of the butternut squash and Gruyère, while its freshness brings balance to the dish. Along the way, its nuanced flavors echo and enhance the warming fall spices, creating a deliciously harmonious pairing. After one sip, it will be no mystery how this wine has stood the test of time!
